Verified ReviewerBattery acid evaporated
Hello I bought a die-hard battery from Auto parts store for my motorcycle I filled it with acid I put a charge on it over the winter I trickle charged it and all of the acid evaporated out of the battery looking at the terminals it look like they're sunk in and if I pour any water towards the terminals it goes inside the battery. This is the second battery I bought from Auto parts store and the same thing has happened to it what can I do about the battery terminals that's where the acid is evaporating from should I put some caulk on it super glue or something cuz wasted my money buying this battery
Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered

Affected by poor battery
This battery was only a year old when I started having issues cranking the car. Things only got worse.
The car would need a jump everyday after sitting over night. Autozone testing said the battery was fine.
I took the car to a reputable automotive shop which specializes in electronic diagnostics& the first thing he uttered once seeing the battery brand was.awww manhe ran all the electrical testing and all was well, the battery died while being at the shop and he had to charge the battery and the tester showed the true condition of the battery which was bad I returned the battery to advance since it was still under warranty but however, at this time its fully charged and they said theres nothing they could do the batteries perfect so Ill buy another battery and go with another brand. in this case, die hard, dies too easy
User's recommendation: Do not purchase only last a year

Hi I’m having a similar issue with warranty a dead diehard battery at advance auto. I can’t locate the original receipt from purchase. I’m being told nothing can be done without the receipt can you tell me how you were able to resolve your issue?
